I have had him used him for around 25 games and he stop what I couldn't. He has great reflexes gets across the box super quickly. He has great handling of the ball. After using him for around 25 games and only losing 7 he made a lot of key saves he didn't make lots of mistakes and he was quick to react to shots coming towards the net. He played the ball well and was a complete wall.
i'll keep it short and sweet because there really isn't much to say about hism. i used this card for about 15 rivals games and here is my verdict on him...
REFLEXES - His reflexes are insane and allow him to make quick reaction saves from close range.
HANDLING - 9 times out of 10, if he's diving for the ball he'll catch the ball at the same time. His handling also means that he doesn't fumble the ball as much as other keepers in the box.
KICKING - He's got very good distribution, probably on the same level as TOTY FB Neuer for me. Whether it's a quick clearance or a Goal Kick, the ball travels very far.
POSITIONING - I still don't understand what the positioning stat does to Goalkeepers, but from what I experienced he seems to be in the right areas to make some decent saves that I wouldn't expect from cheaper goalkeepers so I'll make this a Pro.
DIVING - Although he's got 91 diving and technically 99 diving with a BASIC Chemstyle, he still isn't convincing when diving for the ball. Near post shots almost always go in because he doesn't get his body in the way, but it could have to do with his low height. His diving isn't much of a problem with long-range shots, however.
HEIGHT - As I just said, his low height probably stops him from making saves from specific angles, as well as also affecting how well his diving works. His low height paired with the Comes for Crosses trait is a recipe for disaster. There is no way that he is going to be winning any aerial catches or punches in the box as there are many defenders in this game who are taller and can jump and outmuscle him too.
So i was using sommer with my squad linked across with zakaria and schar. At close range nobody can beat sommer he can save a shot for nearly everything inside the box. But if u do a finesse shot it will 100 percent go in and he does this weird animation where he just falls straight backwards and anything above the top half of the goal will go in because he is very short for a goalkeeper so most shots above the half of the goal it will go in it doesnt matter if it is someone good or bad it will go in.
